Pelmanism

Maybe better known as "Memory", pelmanism is a simple game where players turn over cards, two at a time, with the aim of finding matching pairs. If you have a smart board or projector in your classroom, this one is a warmer that will get the whole class concentrating.

Split the class into as many groups as you like and teach them the language they will need.

"Column three, row four."

The students in their groups can verbally direct you to the cards they want to turn over. All you have to do is click away and watch them focus!
